I'm excited to announce a huge event that is happening for the Suzuki students in our area this year! It's called Celebration X: Many Hands, One Heart, Passport to a Better World. It is sponsored by the Suzuki Association of Utah. This statewide, area wide concert is a celebration of the legacy of Shinichi Suzuki.

Dress Rehearsal-Saturday September 26th at 1:00 pm (expect to be done around 3:00) Heritage Center Theater (concert location) 105 N 100 E, Cedar City, UT **Please arrive early and have performers enter through the stage door on 100 E** We will need to take attendance and do a temperature check per theater guidelines. We will run the entire concert program in concert order (almost). Rehearsal Order When we are done and you are excused, take a break, go home, get a snack, change into your concert clothes, comb your hair and be ready. The Heritage is available for our use all day if you need to stay there. Call time for the concert is 4:30 pm sharp. We will have a group photo on stage at 4:40 with our professional photographer, then we will get tuned and it's go time! Concert Time-5:00 pm Due to limited seating in the audience, performers will be back stage during the concert. During this time LifeTouch will be taking photos of your child with their instrument. LifeTouch will be providing a link for us to view and order photos after the concert. The link will be here and emailed to you. We do have someone to video the concert. It will be available on YouTube a week after the concert.

Concert Photos: We will have two photographers. One to take the concert "in action" photos, a group photo and one to take individual photos. LifeTouch will be taking each students' individual photo with their instrument. They will make a link available to you to view and purchase photos if you choose. They said the cost would be about $20-30. What a great way to remember this day!
Singing Twinkles in Japanese. The students will be singing the Twinkles in Japanese during the concert. Here is a link to a video that has the words on the screen with a "follow the bouncing ball" sing-a-long. Kira Kira Boshi Expectation: All music will be memorized. **Students will play all of the Suzuki pieces that they know. For the "World" section, they will play the piece at their current book level. Most levels have two (or three) parts. The part that each student will play is assigned in the music folder. Please read the informational letter in each folder.
Costs involved: Your SAU yearly membership (paid through your/a SAU member teacher). World Music selection for your student(s).
